Wednesday 18th February saw a very busy meeting at Old York Council at Huddersfield. RW Bro Brian Butterfield the DGP was surrounded by a plethora of Acting Grand Officers from Yorkshire at the meeting. Bro John Fitzpatrick was installed as Worshipful Master in a team effort which saw W Bro Arthur Wainwright Grand Steward, do a fine job of taking the Master Elect through the signs and secrets of an Installed Master. Prior to that the Council had the pleasure of admitting Bro Andrew Luty into the Degree of St Lawrence. The evening was rounded off by a happy and enjoyable social board, in which the DGP gave thanks to everyone who had supported him over the past four years and wishing his successor W Bro Clive Copley all the best for the future, and for the District going forward.
