Old York Council 29 held its June meeting on the 10th June by dispensation, at Greenhead Masonic Hall, Huddersfield. A very busy evening saw Peter Graham admitted to the order in a St Lawrence the Martyr Ceremony followed by the ceremony of The Knights of Constantinople. The council was pleased to greet W Bro Ian Cotton DGSD who was the personal representative of the R W DGP Clive Copley. Worshipful Master John Fitzpatrick did an excellent job of conducting both ceremonies, he was well supported by his team. District Grand DC W Bro Stephen Sharp AGDC filled the office of conductor and lead the candidate round in both ceremonies. Council DC W Bro Barry Massam PGJD did the running of proceedings in his usual unassuming professional manor. The social board which followed was laid back and convivial, rounding off a good night, in which we welcomed Peter Grace into Allied Masonry in the District of Yorkshire.
